FRS Baltic reopens Sassnitz-Trelleborg royal line

FRS Baltic has been very successfully operating the Sassnitz-Ystad ferry route since September 2020, which was to replace the old Sassnitz-Trelleborg Royal Line when it was launched. Now the shipping company is going to to the old ferry connection between Sassnitz-Mukran and the southern Swedish town of Trelleborg.

New ferry Sassnitz-Trelleborg starts in April 2023

Already with the timetable from April 2023, the new old route will be served. Trelleborg is the hub for ferry connections to Sweden and offers the shipping company many new opportunities.

However, there will be little change in the timetable. There will continue to be up to three departures daily in each direction on the high-speed Skane Jet catamaran, and the low-cost night sailings will return in the summer.
The season runs from the beginning of April to the end of October 2023.

The old Sassnitz-Trelleborg Royal Line was operated by Stena Line until September 2020, when it was discontinued to to inefficiency.

The complete schedule with all departure times from Sassnitz Mukran and Trelleborg will be published shortly. Then we will also report about it here.

The prices will also be published together with the timetable and are expected to differ only slightly from the current prices.

FRS Baltic Sassnitz-Trelleborg Booking 2023

Bookings for the new ferry service between Sassnitz Mukran to the island of Rügen and Trelleborg in southern Sweden are expected to start in November 2022. We will also inform you here about the start of the booking. There will also be attractive early booking discounts at the start of bookings.
