Hansa Destinations cancels passenger departures – temporary schedule change
Hansa Destinations announced on Nov. 10, 2022, that there will be a temporary schedule change from Nov. 10-29. As a result, all passenger departures to Rostock-Nynäshamn (Stockholm) and Rostock-Visby ferries will be cancelled during this period.
MS Drotten with technical defect in the shipyard
The ferry MS Drotten, which operates for Hansa Destinations to route between Nynäshamn/Visby and Rostock, is temporarily withdrawn from service. The reason for this is a technical problem that means that the ship has to be taken to a shipyard.
All trips with MS Drotten that are cancelled to Nynäshamn/Visby-Rostock route will be replaced by the cargo ship MS Eliana Marino. During the repair period Hansa Destinations can only transport goods, all passenger trips will be cancelled.
The repair work will affect the schedule from November 10 to 29. All affected passengers and cargo customers will be informed by the shipping company via SMS and e-mail.
Hansa Destinations regrets the schedule changes at short notice for all those affected.
Hansa Destinations ferry Eliana Marino – chartered by Moby Cargo
The cargo ferry Eliana Marion chartered by Moby Cargo takes over the cargo traffic from MS Drotten.
