Germany’s only high sea island fascinates with a 61 meter high cliff. A circuit of the island stretches over three kilometers, 182 steps lead up to the “upper land” – alternatively, an elevator is available. From up here, there is a magnificent view to Helgoland, to Lange Anna, the lighthouse, the diverse bird life and the endless expanse of the North Sea. The neighboring island “Düne” can be reached comfortably by ferry and promises wonderful bathing days to finest sand.
