The Balearia shipping company

The Balearia shipping company was founded in 1998. It operates ferry services from mainland Spain to the Balearic Islands, to Canary Islands and North Africa to The shipping company is also active between the USA and the Bahamas. Its headquarters are in Dénia, and with over three million passengers a year it holds the largest market share in transport to the Balearic Islands. The company is constantly working to further expand its reach.

In the direction of North Africa, we travel from Algeciras and Almeria to Tangier, Nador, Ceuta and Melilla. In addition to conventional passenger ferries, Balearia offers alternative crossings to fast ferries and catamarans. This shortens the passage Dénia – Mallorca from eight to five hours.
