The Grimaldi Lines shipping company

The Italian shipping company Grimaldi Lines is part of the Grimaldi Group. The company transports both passengers and freight in numerous countries. The proximity of the Grimaldi family to the sea and seafaring can be traced back to 1348. In 1947, five Grimaldi brothers founded their own shipping company, initially specialising to the transport of goods and later carrying passengers across the Atlantic. The management has always been able to adapt skilfully to market conditions. Thus, the company took advantage of the economic boom, offered vehicle transports, expanded new routes and led the company to the top. Today it is one of the largest ferry companies in Italy.
